Songkrang, is the Thai New Year which is hold during 13th, 14th and 15th of April. Songkran is also known as Thailand water festival, which is celebrated with fervor and zeal in the whole country. So if you don’t want to get wet, stay indoors during these days; it is impossible to avoid water guns, water ballons, and buckets of water!!! Clic here and here to see some pictures from last year (2011).
In the picture a dancer while dancing spread white petals.
By the way, the world 'songkran' come from the Sanskrit word Sangranti, signifying the Sun’s shift from one zodiac to another. If you see the entries form last 3 months I was shooting mostly landscapes. So, I asked my wife that I wanted to take people photograph, so we decided to go to Ancient Siam, (click here to see pictures of this amazing place). Well enjoy watching the photos!!!
After a while, she started posing for my lens. This lady is quite photogenic thus I dared to focus on her movements. I enjoyed a lot this day ;D
